The Japan Disaster

 I hope life finds you all well.  I know I've gone a long time between posts, and you have my continuing apologies for that.

Normally I wouldn't allow reality to get in here, but Japan is a place which is very near and dear to me.  I spent 1999-2001 in Japan, teaching, learning, and really becoming the person I always wanted to be.  I couldn't have done that without the kind-hearted, enthusiastic support of the Japanese people.  They have my deepest sympathies and other emotions of support and shared horror that I can scarcely put into words as they deal with the recent disaster.

I will do another blog post as soon as possible.  I promise.
